- The goal of the VRMLworks is to promote the effective use of 3D on the Web and to open the experience
of viewing and creating 3D on the Web to as many people as possible, and to do so without any personal gain.
- The VRMLworks sells nothing. We have a free software page from which we
distribute free, open source software that may be of use to VRML content developers. This software is published
under the terms of the Gnu General Public License.

We collect no other information from email letters. Email messages are answered, their topics are noted,
and they are discarded. We never collect information about senders' names, email addresses, or any other
information from email messages except the topic. When an email message answers or corrects an item on the
FAQ, we write to the sender to ask permission to include his or her name on the list of contributors to the FAQ.
If permission is not given, we do not include the name on the list of contributors.
We use this information to identify potential items for the FAQ and potential articles for the VRMLworks.
- We do not give, sell, rent, or allow any access whatever by anyone to any of the information
we collect.
- We do not send information, sales materials, or anything else by email or any other means to
the people who visit or write to the VRMLworks, nor do we permit anyone else to do so.
- Links from the VRMLworks may point to sources of software, books, or other items for which a
fee is charged. We collect no fee nor do we receive anything of value for referring anyone to these sites. Information
about those sites is collected with due diligence. However, sites may change their products or terms and conditions.
You are responsible for reading and understanding any offers made on those sites.
- To the best of our knowledge, we do not link or refer to any site which displays or offers any
pornography, material in violation of copyright, or any other materials that are illegal to view or possess in
any jurisdiction. But the Web constantly changes. You are responsible for determining that materials you view
or download are legal for you to view or possess.
- Products that are reviewed or mentioned on the VRMLworks were obtained from the same sources
and under the same terms by which they are available to anyone else. In particular, all books reviewed were paid
for at the normal retail price. All software products were paid for at the normal retail price, except for software
offered through beta test programs or at conferences. In the latter case, we did not accept anything unless it
was offered to all similar participants in the beta program or at the conference. We have received nothing of value
in return for mentioning any product. If an offer is made to give anything of value in return for the mention of
a product, we will remove all references to that product from our pages.
- The VRMLworks is not affiliated with any company, organization, or educational institution.
In particular, you must not assume that our employers either approve or disapprove of anything said or any
product mentioned on the VRMLworks.
