These icons are based on Kevin Hughes' Free VRML Art. Please swipe these and use them on your main pages to describe your VRML worlds. For the next few months, there are going to be a bunch of VRML 1.0, VRML 1.0 with Live3D extensions, and VRML 2.0 worlds out there. Unfortunately, using the wrong browser on the wrong world can result in browser crashes and people getting mad at you and at VRML.
In the next few months, this should settle out considerably as browsers become more robust and VRML 2.0 takes off, and these icons probably won't be needed any more. In the meantime, though, please use something like these iocns to identify the worlds you create and link to.
If you're using Netscape on Win95 or X, right-mouse and select "Save Image As...". Other browsers will have their own methods, which aren't too hard to figure out.
If you're going to give any credit for these icons, please credit Kevin Hughes, who came up with the logo in the first place. Sorry for the abbreviation, Netscape folks, but "Live3D" was illegible at 32x32.
These icons are provided free to the VRML community for any purpose, including incorporation into commercial products. They may be freely modified, adapted, and packaged. The only thing you may not do is offer them for sale without adding any value of your own.

Tired of trying to figure out what icon stands for .wrl files, because every VRML application you
install changes the icon? Here are some icons you can use instead. Click on the image to download a zip file of
all the icons, and use the one you like best.
Note: the icons that look like the "VRML" is surrounded by grey actually have transparent areas around the "VRML". The appearance of these icons will change depending on the background you set as the default for your Explorer window.
