Essays
Here are a few (right now a very few) short essays I've written about VRML and what it might mean to
people.
- VRML was invented by people who had the idea that it would be the first step toward cyberspace. Like any new
technology, it has had unexpected side effects, and I suggest that VRML's real importance might be something altogether different.
- I expand the theme to consider what might happen to people as a result of being able to sketch in four dimensions.
But first things first: let's think about one-dimensional sketching.
- An expanded version (with illustrations and examples) of an article I wrote for
InterActivity magazine on VRML post-production.
I have a few thoughts about the nature of 2D, 3D and 4D (none of them guaranteed to be any more enlightening
or less banal than the essays above). One of these days I'll write them down.

Did I make some horrible error or spark a few thoughts? Let me know.
